When a person learns the power of “the joy of the Lord,” it is transformative! Jennifer Lincoln, whom most of us knew (and know) as “Joyfully Jenny,” was one of those people. Her life was forever changed by the joy of the Lord, and what Jenny discovered by faith she realized by sight on Sunday, January 21, 2018. After a sudden and unexpected illness, Jenny awoke to find herself in the presence of the living Christ, whose joy has long been her strength and safe harbor.
Jenny was a missionary at heart. She was passionately involved in her local church family and in volunteer global mission efforts (her idea of a vacation was a third-world mission trip). She was an author, a public speaker, a team trainer, and a coach to individuals from every vocation and walk of life. She was a teacher, a women’s advocate, and she valued family above all other institutions. What made Jenny successful in each of these endeavors was the contagious joy with which she impacted every life that she touched.
